Cohort Information
Joined Research Group:
January 2018
Research Interests:
Control of flexible joint manipulators, human-robot interaction
Awards & Honors:

Rensselaer Graduate Fellowship, Fall 2016-Spring 2017

Research Group Experience:
This group is collaborative with a mixture of majors. The most common majors are electrical, mechanical, and computer engineering. This group is also a mixture of undergraduates and graduates. This allows undergrads an excellent introduction to the research process under the guidance of the current graduate students. Dr. Wen is very involved. Every week, each research project has a meeting to discuss progress and next steps.
Professional Experience:

Teaching assistant

  • Modeling And Analysis Of Uncertainty, Fall 2017
  • System Analysis Techniques, Fall 2017

Research assistant

  • MIC Robotics Lab, Spring 2018-Present
    • Funded by NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center, the project focuses on robust and accurate control of redundant, flexible joint manipulators while transporting a large load.
